After the death of Yoruba legend, actor, playwright and a poet, more detals have risen about how he passed away in his Ibadan, Oyo State home.

Legendary performer and writer, Adebayo Faleti, died on Sunday in his home in Ibadan at 86 years old because of old age.

One of Faleti's child, Adeniyi, told one of the Punch reporters that he was helping
his dad with his shower when he passed on.

As indicated by him, his dad observed the early morning devotion with his relatives and not long after revealed to them that he had appealed to God to send another person to proceed with his main goal as he was tirabout  and longing for home.

He likewise said that he requested hot pap, which he took before his passing.

Adeniyi said, “After the morning devotion, I helped him to the bathroom as I normally did. He said he wanted God to send someone else to come and complete his work because he had done all he could do. He also said that he wanted to go home. Suddenly, I noticed that he was not breathing again. We took him to the University College Hospital, Ibadan where he was confirmed dead. We shall miss him greatly.”

Likewise, the first child of the previous General Manager of the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State, Ayoola, said he talked with his dad three days prior and that he was en route home when he was informed that his dad had passed on.

"In his typical practice, he called me three days prior and we examined like father and child. After I got a call toward the beginning of today from my sibling concerning the condition of his wellbeing, I hit the street to return home and see him yet I didn't meet him alive. He kicked the bucket before I could get home. He dealt with every one of his children and gave us great training. We should all miss him," said Ayoola.

One of the deceased spouses, Moteniola, said she wedded him in the 50s, including that he was an adoring husband who was constantly worried about the welfare of his family.

"I knew him as a cherishing spouse and I will recollect how well he provided food for the family. He arranged the kids for a decent future by guaranteeing that they had great instruction," Moteniola said.

Another spouse of the perished, Olubunmi, couldn't address pressmen as she was wailing wildly. In any case, another child of the late on-screen character, Gbemi, said that the family would stay thankful to God for allowing their dad a decent life.

"He achieved the pinnacle of his profession in life. As a performing artist, he was a commended artiste, as a chairman, he headed the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State and the Oyo State office of the dead Mass Mobilization for Self Reliance, Social Justice, and Economic Recovery.

"He fitted into each great part that a father and a companion could play. He was minding and adored by all. We are pitiful about his end however we are thankful for a satisfied life he lived.
