The CURRENT fuel crisis and incessant lack of power supply in the country is making life difficult for people in the country as people are now finding it hard to perform day to day activities including getting an education.

The Senate of the University of Lagos have currently released a statement declaring indefinite shut down of the school with immediate effect.

Students were warned to vacate the hostels by 10am this morning as the reason given by UNILAG Senate Committee for
shutting it down is cited as ongoing agitation by the student body over poor electricity, water supply & the difficulty faced by students living off campus to get to classes due to the fuel crisis.
UnilagClosure
and some students have informed the wider public about being forced out of their hostels as early as 7am this morning by armed Rapid Response Squad police officers.

Apparently those that erred had to result to jumping the gate of the school's major entrance and passing through a canal at the back of the school, in order to leave.
