Arsenal fc coach, Arsene Wenger is set to tie down Nigerian starlet Alex Iwobi to a new deal by instructing arsenal football club to offer him a new deal that will see his pay increase from £800 per week to £10,000 per week with bonuses.

This deal is to ensure his future at the club is settled amidst
admiration from some top premier league clubs.


Iwobi who is Jay Jay Okocha's nephew, signed a five-year deal in October, but his rapid progression and growth this season has pushed him into boss Arsene Wenger’s first team plans.

Iwobi was also a surprise inclusion in Arsenal's starting XI for the Champions League defeat at Barcelona
Iwobi's performances since he joined the Arsenal first team has been top notch as he dazzled against Barcelona in the champions league and showed his prowess in front of goal with a classic goal against Everton in the premier league.

He is currently with the Super Eagles of Nigeria and could play a massive role in today's AFCON qualifier against Egypt.
